Privacy and data protection

Privacy Policy

This Policy clearly explains how DM Digital handles personal information when you visit the website, purchase the digital product, or access its content.

Last updated: August 22, 2026

1. Who we are

DM Digital is a Christian digital content product featuring prayers, Bible passages, and biblical teachings. It is made available through dmdigitalpro.com and operated in Brazil.

For the purposes of Brazilian Federal Law No. 13,709/2018 — the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”) — DM Digital acts as the data controller for personal data related to the operation of the product. Questions and requests may be sent to catequizartbr@gmail.com.

2. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to the website, checkout pages, access to DM Digital, support communications, and other interactions directly related to the product. Third-party services accessed through their own links may have separate privacy policies.

3. Personal data we process

Data you provide directly

  • Email address: used to identify your purchase, provide and maintain access to the content, and offer support.
  • Communications: information you choose to include when contacting us by email.

Payment data

When a purchase is made, the payment processor may collect information required for the transaction, such as the payer's name, payment method, billing address, and fraud-prevention information. DM Digital does not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

Technical data

The hosting provider and systems required to operate the website may automatically record technical data such as IP address, access date and time, browser, device, pages visited, and security logs. These records are used to deliver the service, maintain its stability, and prevent abuse.

DM Digital does not require users to provide religious beliefs, personal prayer requests, a spiritual journal, or other sensitive information to access the product.

4. How we use personal data

  • confirm the purchase and provide access to DM Digital;
  • identify the user through the email address provided;
  • send essential communications about access, payment, security, or service changes;
  • respond to support requests;
  • comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations and exercise legal rights;
  • protect the website, prevent fraud, and maintain operational security.

Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on contract performance, compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation, the exercise of legal rights, legitimate interests under the LGPD, or consent when applicable.

5. Payments processed by Stripe

Payments may be processed by Stripe. When you make a purchase, the information required for payment is sent directly to Stripe, which processes it under its own terms and policies. DM Digital may receive only information related to the transaction outcome, such as confirmation, amount, date, purchase identifier, and payment status.

You can review the Stripe Privacy Policy.

6. Sharing with service providers

Personal data may be processed by providers strictly necessary for our operation, including:

  • Stripe: payment processing, fraud prevention, and transaction support;
  • HostGator: website hosting and technical infrastructure;
  • email and technology providers: message delivery, access management, storage, and security, when required.

These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services and may process data in other countries, subject to applicable safeguards for international data transfers.

DM Digital does not sell or trade personal data. Information may be shared with public authorities when required by law, a valid order, or to protect legal rights.

7. Cookies and technical logs

The website may use cookies strictly necessary for operation, security, session maintenance, and purchase processing. Technical records may also be generated automatically by the hosting service.

If optional analytics, advertising, or personalization tools are added in the future, this Policy will be updated and a consent-management mechanism will be provided when required.

8. How long we retain data

Your email address will be retained for as long as necessary to provide the purchased access, offer support, and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Purchase, payment, and support records may be retained for periods required to comply with legal and tax obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and exercise legal rights.

When retention is no longer necessary, data will be deleted or anonymized unless continued storage is permitted or required by law.

9. Information security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Despite these safeguards, no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

You should also protect access to your email account because it is used for identification and access to the product.

10. Your rights under the LGPD

Under the LGPD, you may request, when applicable:

  • confirmation that processing exists and access to your data;
  • correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information;
  • anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary, excessive, or unlawfully processed data;
  • information about data sharing;
  • data portability, subject to applicable regulations and commercial and industrial secrets;
  • deletion of data processed based on consent, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • withdrawal of consent and objection to certain processing activities;
  • review of decisions made solely through automated processing, when applicable.

Because DM Digital does not require a traditional user account, requests to correct data, discontinue access, or delete personal data must be sent from the email address used for the purchase to catequizartbr@gmail.com. We may request additional information only to confirm your identity and protect your data against unauthorized requests.

11. Service intended for adults

DM Digital is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children or teenagers. If use by a minor is identified, a parent or legal guardian may contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.

12. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the product, service providers, or applicable law. The current version will always be available on this page together with its last-updated date. Material changes may be communicated to the email address used for access.
